What ASL Verifier needs
- A camera image of the portrait side of your identity document.
- Eight live camera frames captured across a randomized center-left-right-center head-turn challenge.
- The engine checks active liveness and one-to-one facial similarity. It does not authenticate the reference document or make a legal identity decision.
Submitted image bytes are processed in volatile memory and cleared after the request. The test service keeps only a pseudonymous, integrity-protected audit event without images.
Photo-to-photo comparison
Compare two photos—without claiming identity.
This feature automatically checks the usable faces in the first photo against the usable faces in the second. It does not prove either photo is live, authentic, or tied to a legal identity.

- You must be authorized to use both photos for the stated purpose.
- One or more clear faces may appear in either photo. The search is limited to these two submitted photos.
- This page keeps selected photos in memory only and clears them on cancel, completion, or page close.

ASL Verifier has stopped the camera and cleared this page’s pending captures. The ASL host can return you to Keycloak or Authelia for a configured passkey, security key, recovery code, or assisted recovery flow.

Choosing another method does not create a face result and must not count as a failed verification. The verifier never asks for or receives Keycloak or Authelia credentials, tokens, passkeys, or recovery codes.
